Chennai Super Kings continue their winning streak as they defeat Gujarat Titans by 63 runs in Seventh match of IPL 2024.
Titans won the toss and invited Super Kings to bat first. New skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra built a 62-run partnership for the first wicket. Shivam Dube’s rapid 52 runs off 23 balls, including 2 fours and 5 sixes, helped Chennai Super Kings post a total of 206/6 in their 20 overs.
In reply, Gujarat Titans lost their wickets at regular intervals. Sai Sudharsan was the highest scorer, contributing 37 runs. Deepak Chahar, Mustafizur Rahman, and Tushar Deshpande took 2 wickets each for Chennai.
