The 18-year old Garuka Sanketh has joined Delhi Capitals as a net bowler for the Indian Premier League 2024.
Sanketh represented Sri Lanka in the recently concluded ICC U19 World Cup 2024 held in South Africa and caught the attention of the Cricket fraternity for his slingy bowling action.
Sanketh, a product of Lyceum International School, was a regular feature in the Sri Lanka U19 squads in recent times.
During his time at the National U19 Team, Sanketh played 16 matches and picked up 22 wickets at 27.68 with a career best of 5/48.
