Sri Lanka Women beat Thailand by 67 runs in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier match played at the Tolerance Oval, Abu Dhabi on Thursday (25).
Having won the toss, Sri Lanka Women opted to bat first, where they smashed 122/5 at the end of 20 overs. Nilakshi de Silva* scored 29 runs, Hasini Perera hit 20, while veteran Chamari Athapattu added 16 runs for Sri Lanka’s scorecard.
However, Sri Lanka restricted Thailand Women’s innings to 55 runs, as they were all out at the end of 16.2 overs. Sri Lanka’s Inoshi Priyadharshan bagged 3 wickets while Udeshika Prabodhani picked up 02 wickets.
