According to the Duckworth-Lewis theory, the Sri Lanka ‘A’ team managed to get a sharp victory by 08 runs in the first one-day match that started the Afghanistan ‘A’ team’s tour of Sri Lanka.
This match ended in Hambantota today (April 28) evening.
With this victory of Sri Lanka, they were able to take a 1-0 lead in the series of 05 matches.
Afghanistan’s invitation to bat first Sri Lankan team ended the 50 overs by collecting 304 runs with the loss of 08 wickets on the scoreboard.
But in reply they were able to collect only 277 runs by losing 07 wickets.
