28,000-plus crowd witnessed Royal Challengers Bangalore’s victory by 47 runs against Delhi Capitals, climbing to 5th place on the points table in the 62nd match of IPL 2024 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
Earlier, Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first. Royal Challengers posted 187/9 in the allocated 20 overs. Will Jacks (41) and Rajat Patidar (52) contributed to the Challengers’ innings.
In reply, Delhi Capitals’ new skipper, Axar Patel, scored 57 runs but Delhi Capitals only managed to reach 140 before being all out in 19.1 overs. Yash Dayal took 3 wickets for the Royals.
