Sunrisers Hyderabad rise again as they make it to the Finals, defeating Rajasthan Royals by 36 runs at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals elected to field first and gave some pressure on the Sunrisers batters. However, they posted a total of 175/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Heinrich Klaasen scored 50 runs in the Sunrisers’ innings. Trent Boult and Avesh Khan took 3 wickets each for Rajasthan.
Chasing the target, Rajasthan lost their wickets at regular intervals, though Dhruv Jurel scored an unbeaten 56 runs. Unfortunately, it was not enough to chase down the target. Shahbaz Ahmed was the player of the match, playing a crucial role for Sunrisers by taking 3 wickets for just 23 runs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will face off in the finals against Kolkata Knight Riders on 26th May at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.
