Galle Marvels pulled out a thrilling 5 wickets over Jaffna Kings in the Lanka Premier League match at Pallellekele Sri Lanka.
Taking the first lease of the wicket Jaffna Kings made 177 for 7 in their 20 overs. Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando are the highest contributors making 51 and 59 runs respectively.
Skipper Charith Asalanka made 33.
Chasing a formidable target Galle Marvels were able to pull out a thrilling victory in the last ball of the final over.
Skipper Niroshan Dickwella led the way with Alex Hales. Dickwella made 47 and Hales Contributed with valuable quick fired 65.
The game was evenly poised till the last over and the Galle became victorious when Shan Arachchige hit the much needed four runs in the last over.
