On Friday Royal met Wesley college. The Royal Tuskers managed to clinch the win thanks to a solid second half performance. The final scoreline of the game was 27-14.

Five matches played on Saturday despite heavy rain in Colombo.

The archrivals St Peter’s and St Joseph’s met at Bambalapitiya and St. Petre’s remain unbeaten as they outclassed opponents 25-10.

The maucvh awaited game between Isipathana College and Trinity Colege Kandy played at the Havel;ock Grounds after a lap of 5 years. Green machines found the battle difficult as lions were head-to-head till the last moment. Finally, Isipathana taste the victory by 13-10 at the long whistle.

D S Senanayake College met St. Thomas’ at Mt. Lavinia. Dons suffered first defeat as S. Thomas’ shock them with a victory by 29-15.

Zahira made their mark at Maradana defeated Vidyartha by 13-10 in a do or die battle.
