Newstar Sports Club won the Colombo Football League Championship in the first division football tournament organized by the Colombo Football League. New Star won 5-3 on penalty kicks in the final between New Star and Challengers sports clubs held yesterday at Colombo City League ground.
In the semi-finals, New Star won against Old Benz, while Challengers won after defeating Ratnam. The Colombo Football League had organized this tournament after 5 years.
