The Sri Lanka Junior Women’s Volleyball Team left for Maldives yesterday (16) to participate in the Under-20 Central Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship.
Hosts Maldives will be joined by Sri Lanka, Nepal and Kyrgyzstan in this tournament which will be held at the Social Center Stadium in Male city.
Starting the tournament, the Sri Lankan team will play the first match against Nepal tomorrow (18) in the preliminary round, and on the 19th they will play host Maldives in Aire, and on the 20th against Kyrgyzstan in the second and third matches respectively.
The semi-finals will be held on the 22nd, and the final and the third place match will be held on the 23rd.
