Sri Lanka’s Dilhani Lekamge participateed in the women’s javelin throw qualification round of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in France today at 1:55 PM. She finished 16yth place with the best distance of 53.66m
The 37-year-old Hangzhou Asian Games silver medallist and international medallist will also be competing in her last international meet before retirement.
Dilhani, the captain of the Sri Lanka athletic team and the women’s flag bearer at the Olympic Games opening ceremony, set a personal best performance and a new Sri Lanka mark of 61.57m at the Hangzhou Asian Games.
