England Lions need 75 runs to beat Sri Lanka

Touiring Sri Lankan cricekt team in the verge of defeat from the hands of England Lions in the four day warm up match currently underway in Worcester.

Sri Lanka left a target of 122 runs for the Lions after finishing their second inning for 306.

Lions were 47 for 2 at the close of play on thirdvday and need only 75 runs to beat Sri Lanka with a day remaining.

Sri Lanka mage 139 runs in their first inning and as the top order collapsed as usual.

In the scod inning Skipper Dananjayad De Silva 66 runs while Angelo Mathews made 51. Dimith Karunarathna made 43
