At the Paralympic Games held in Paris, France last night, Janani Dhananjani joined the long jump event in the T47 category and her performance was 4.96 meters.
However, she was unable to win any medals and 19-year-old Janani was able to secure the 9th position among 11 women who participated in the event.
Kiara Rodriguez of Ecuador won the gold medal in this event by recording a distance of 6.05 meters.
Hungary’s Petra Lutheran (5.85 m) and Denmark’s B.K. Noiremark (5.76m) won the silver and bronze medals respectively
Janani had to participate with her Coach, What a country this is????????
Sports Ministry sending useless officers (to spend vacation???) to Paris but Janani’s coach couldn’t go with her.
