Sri Lanka T10 cricketer selection on 10th

The player selection for the T10 cricket tournament, which will add fresh experience to the Sri Lankan cricket field, will be held on November 10. The T10 cricketer draft will be released on that day without an auction, and the tournament will begin on December 12 with the participation of six teams.

According to the conditions of the tournament, each team can nominate 17 players for the squad, and at least 15 players must be selected for the squad.

The closing date for player registration is 1st of next month and the closing date for signing contracts for direct contract players is 5th of next month.A team must directly sign contracts with six players from each category, and one icon player is subject to a maximum of US$50,000 (about 1.5 crore Sri Lankan rupees).

For that, a player from Sri Lanka and a foreign country must be contacted. From the ‘B’ category, one local and one foreign player each should be included.

There are 11 rounds to complete the draft, and in the first two rounds, two first-class players, one Sri Lankan and one foreigner, are to be selected at a cost of USD 35,000 (Category ‘A’). Two more players will be selected in the third and fourth rounds, paying USD 20,000 each.In this way, players can be bought at USD 10,000 each and USD 2,500 each.Teams have been given the right to pick an up-and-coming player from Zimbabwe and the West Indies for US$2,500.
