The Sri Lanka Youth Women’s team won the second Twenty20 match against the visiting Bangladesh Under-19 women’s cricket team by 65 runs due to captain Manudi Nanayakkara’s half-century and the performance of the bowlers.
With this, the Sri Lankan players managed to take a 2-0 lead in the Twenty20 cricket series consisting of 4 matches.
Batting first in the match held at the Thurston ground in Colombo yesterday, Bangladesh could score only 60 runs in 12.2 overs against the target of 126 runs given by the Sri Lankan team.
