The World Rugby (WR) Executive Board, which convened on Friday (14), has officially granted a final extension of time to Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) from yesterday (15) until 15 June for the latter to resolve all its outstanding governance matters.
As per the WR communiqué, failure to approve and enact a new constitution and hold elections within the given timeframe would result in the immediate imposition of sanctions upon SLR.
