A brillient centuray by Upul Tharanga (102) and a superb half century by Lahiru Thirimanna (53) took Sri Lanka Masters honme by 3 wickets against Australian Masters.
Batting first Australina Masters made 217 for 4 wickets with Shaun Marsh’s(77) and Ben Dunk’s (66) half centiries
In reply Sri Lanka lost their skipper Kumar Sangakkara for 2 runs. Opener Upul Tharagna and Lahiru Thirimanna put 153 runs for the second wicket. Upula Tharanga departed when he was 102 and Lahiru Thirimanna also folowed hom when they score was 178.
That put Sri Lanka into trouble but Isuru Udana and Sekkuge prassanna added 15 and 16 runs respectively to take Sri Lanka closer to the victory before leaving the crease. Chathuranga De Silva and Jeewan Mendis held their nurves to take Sri Lanka overs the lin in 19.2 overs.
