The White Ferns outclassed the Lankans in the three-match ODI series with a 2-0 victory. The first match ended in a no result due to rain, but New Zealand bounced back in the second, securing a commanding 78-run win thanks to Maddy Green’s brilliant century and Eden Carson’s four-wicket haul.
In the third ODI, Sri Lanka endured an even heavier defeat, losing by 98 runs. Georgia Plimmer’s sensational ton powered New Zealand to a massive 281-run total. Defending the target, the Kiwi bowlers ran riot, with Jess Kerr and Fran Jonas picking up three wickets each to dismantle the Sri Lankan batting lineup.
