Sai Sudharsan’s brilliant knock of 82 runs off 53 balls, including 8 fours and 3 sixes, helped Gujarat post a strong total of 217/6. Maheesh Theekshana and Tushar Deshpande took 2 wickets each for Rajasthan.
Chasing the target, Gujarat bowlers applied consistent pressure, restricting Rajasthan’s innings. Skipper Sanju Samson contributed 41 runs while Shimron Hetmyer scored quick 52 runs, but Rajasthan could only manage 159 before being bowled out in 19.2 overs.
