The 22-man Sri Lanka squad for the two-match Test series with South Africa was officially announced today (17),With the approval of Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa. Dimuth Karunaratne will lead the touring Sri Lankan Squad.
Although Angelo Mathews has been named in the squad, he has officially announced that he will not be taking part in the tournament due to injury during othe Sri Lanka Premier League cricket tournament
The Sri Lankan team is scheduled to leave the island today (18) and the tournament will start on the 26th of this month.
