The England squad for the Twenty20 World Cup Cricket Tournament was announced on Thursday (9).
Led by Eoin Morgan, the England squad includes 15 players and three additional players.
England’s cricket authorities have taken steps to recall fast bowlers Tymal Mills and Chris Woakes to the England Twenty20 squad. The 29-year-old left-arm fast bowler last played in an international match in 2017 and is back in the England Twenty20 squad four years later.
England will be accompanied by two key spinners, Rashid Khan and Moeen Ali, for the World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The England team won the runner-up spot in the 2016 Twenty20 World Cup. England will begin their World Cup journey against the reigning World Twenty20 champions, the West Indies, on October 23.
