Kandy Warriors has officially announced that Charith Asalanka and Minod Bhanuka are recruited
into the squad in the upcoming LPL Tournament.
Minod Bhanuka is a batter-keeper who represented Sri Lanka in the former matches played against South Africa and India. He is an outstanding batsman and a wicket keeper. He has scored 1187 T20 runs in 67 matches, with an average of 21.58.
Charith Asalanka was a well-known player in the former T20 world cup 2020 as Sri Lanka’s world cup
hero with a strike rate of 132.9 in the T20 format. These players will be representing the squad of
Kandy warriors in the upcoming LPL 2021 with their first game against Dambulla Giants on 6 th of
December at RPICS.
