It is announced that 5 members have been released from the 22-membered Test squad that’s currently engaged in playing against the West Indies for the Sobers-Tissera Trophy at Galle.
The 5 members include,
Dushmantha Chameera
Roshen Silva
Suminda Lakshan
Kamil Mishara
Asitha Fernando
Anyhow, Kamil Mishara and Suminda Lakshan were new to the test squad and it is reported that Dushmantha Chameera has been called off for a rest since he’s been loaded with work on field as he was part of the T20 World Cup.
But unfortunately Roshen Silva loses another chance since he couldn’t play for a while after the England Test series and his long-term absence is being critically beheld by fans around the country.
Thereby the remaining squad consists of 17 players,as follows;
