The Technical Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket is reported to have resigned with immediate effect.
Mahela Jayawardane, Kumar Sangakkara and Aravinda De Silva are the three members who have handed their resignations.
It should also be noted that Namal Rajapaksa is not the Minister of Sports anymore after the cabinet members resigned from their portfolios. The current political situation in Sri Lanka has also affected sports in a way.
It is uncertain on how this will affect Sri Lanka Cricket in a way as there have been certain disagreements within especially in the appointments of the new coaches that has been delayed for a very long time.
