Defending champions Jaffna Kings took on Galle Gladiators in the opening encounter of the Lanka Premier League 2022 and recorded a 24-run victory at Hambantota on Tuesday (December 6).
The Gladiators did well with the ball in the first game against Jaffna Kings as they restricted them to just 137 runs. However, the batters failed to deliver a decent performance as they were restricted to 113 runs and lost the game by 24 runs.
