England’s Sophia Dunkley has set the Women’s Premier League alight. With some brutal hitting against Preeti Bose, she has scored the fastest fifty of WPL 2023, eclipsing Harmanpreet Kaur (22-ball 50). Dunkley took just 18 balls to reach fifty after taking on Preeti for 4, 6, 6,4, and 4 in the 5th over.
Earlier, Harmanpreet Kaur hammered the fastest fifty of the tournament in the WPL opener against Gujarat Giants. She took just 22 balls to reach the figures.
