Only 10 overs of play was possible on Tuesday as rain relentlessly poured in Colombo, making it difficult for Pakistan to push ahead and get a big first-innings lead.
Early stumps were taken on Day 2 of the ongoing second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka after rain played a spoilsport in Colombo. Abdullah Shafique (74*) and Babar Azam (28*) remained standing strong for 2-down Pakistan, with their score read at 178/2, leading 12 runs. Earlier on Day 1, Abrar Ahmed takes a four-wicket haul as Pakistan bundled out Sri Lanka for 166. Apart from Abrar, Naseem Shah took three wickets while Shaheen Afridi scalped one. For Sri Lanka, Dhananjaya de Silva scored 57 runs.
