- Anthony Jelonch will captain the side for the first time since their 2021 tour of Australia.
- Antoine Hastoy will make only his third start in his fifth career test after making his debut against Australia in 2021. He has never played more than 67 minutes in a single test in his career, and is still chasing his first points for Les Bleus.
- Thomas Ramos has scored 14 points or more in each of his past 11 tests dating back to November 2022 against Australia. He averaged 17 points per game in 2023 and has not missed more than two kicks at goal in a test this season.
