All hopes are still alive!!! Delhi Capitals climbed to 5th place on the points table after defeating Rajasthan Royals by 20 runs at their home ground.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and invited Delhi Capitals to bat first. Abishek Porel scored 65 runs and Jake Fraser-McGurk scored 50 runs as Capitals posted 221/8 in their allocated 20 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets for Rajasthan.
Chasing the target, Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson scored a brilliant 86 runs, including 8 fours and 6 sixes. However, it wasn’t enough to chase down the target as they only managed to score 201/8.
