Azmatullah Omarzai and skipper Charith Asalanka finished the game in the last over, leading the Jaffna Kings to a 5-wicket victory against the Galle Marvels in the 6th match of LPL 2024. Rilee Rossouw contributed 67 runs to Jaffna’s innings.

Tim Seifert’s unbeaten 104 runs off 63 balls, including 12 fours and 6 sixes, helped the Galle Marvels post 187/5 in their allocated 20 overs. Pramod Madushan (1), Fabian Allen (1), and Azmatullah Omarzai (2) took wickets for the Jaffna Kings.

With this win, the Jaffna Kings climbed to the top of the table.
