Jaffna Kings secured a 30-run win over Dambulla Sixers at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, recording the highest score in LPL 2024.
Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando contributed 88 and 57 runs, respectively, for Jaffna. Mustafizur Rahman took 2 wickets for Dambulla Sixers. Jaffna kings scored 218/5 in 20 overs.
While chasing, the Dambulla Sixers put up a big fight but managed to score only 188/8 in 20 overs. Reeza Hendricks was the highest scorer for Dambulla Sixers, with 80 runs including 9 fours and 3 sixes. Pramod Madushan, Asitha Fernando, and Tabraiz Shamsi took 2 wickets each for Jaffna Kings.
