Canada head coach Pubudu Dassanayake is to step down from the role at the end of the month, Cricket Canada declining to renew the former Sri Lanka and Canadian international’s contract.
Dassanayake had previously been informed that he was to be dismissed ahead of the T20 World Cup but that decision was not ratified at the time.
With Dassanayake’s contract up for running down at the end of July, however, it is understand that Cricket Canada have elected to not to renew it.
