The fifth Asia Cup Women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament will be held from today to the 28th at the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium.
8 teams have qualified for the Asia Cup Women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament, which will decide who will be the champions of Asia, and the number of matches will be 15.
India, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates and Nepal will compete under Group ‘A’, while hosts Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand will compete under Group ‘B’. Arrangements have been made to hold the finals of the tournament on the 28th under flood lights.
United Arab Emirates and Nepal will battle out today in the curtain raiser today at 2 pm and India will take on Pakistan at 7 pm .
The first match in which the Sri Lankan women’s team will participate will be played against Bangladesh tomorrow.
