Aruna returns to the Olympic arena today to make his dream of winning a medal

Sri Lankan athlete Aruna Darshan will enter the Olympic track tonight with the aim of taking one step closer to his Olympic medal dream in the men’s 400m semi-final. aruna will run in the second semi-final at 11 and 12 pm Sri Lanka time.

He is joined by Elián Larregina of Algeria, Lythe Pillay of South Africa, Muzala Samukonga of Zambia, Christopher Bailey of the United States, Bayapo Ndori of Botswana, Kirani James of Grenada, and Luca Sito of Italy.

He had the good fortune of becoming the first Sri Lankan to enter the Olympic 400m semi-final by finishing the race in 49.99 seconds in the preliminary round.
