Viren Nettasinghe and Ranitma Liyanage, t were crowned as the national badminton male and femal champion respectively.
In addition to the men’s and women’s singles championships in the 72nd National Badminton Championship organized by the Sri Lanka Badminton Institute, Viren and Ranitma also won the open mixed doubles championship together to achieve double titles in this tournament.
