At the end of the preliminary round of the Asia Cup Under-19 Women’s Twenty20 cricket tournament, the Sri Lankan young players were able to join the Super 4 round from fourth place.
Bangladesh managed to defeat Nepal by 120 runs in the final match of Group ‘B’ where Sri Lanka competed in the preliminary round, and with that they became the first in that group.
With the win, Bangladesh became the first team in the Super 4 round, while India and Nepal finished second and third respectively in the Super 4 round after winning one match and losing one match due to rain.
