The 14th edition of the Battle of the Hindus’ will herald the commencement of the inter-school cricket ‘big match’ season when the two teams take on each other at the Hindu College ground in Jaffna on February 7 and 8. The encounter, initiated in 1982, evolved into an annual big match after being played at alternate venues, in Colombo and Jaffna.
