Sri Lanka Masters defeated West Indies Masters by 21 runs in match 10 of the International Masters League T20 2025 at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday,
Put into bat first, captain Kumar Sangakkara gave Sri Lanka a good start with his 47. Asela Gunaratne built on that start with a fine 64 to take Sri Lanka Masters to 173/9 in 20 overs. Ashley Nurse was the pick of the West Indian bowlers with three wickets for 23 runs.
Chasing 173, West Indies batters did get starts but could not convert them into big scores. Dwayne Smith got 49 and Lendl Simmons scored 37 but the duo along with other batters were not quick enough with their runs and West Indies could only get to 152/5 in 20 overs. Isuru Udana was brilliant with the ball for Sri Lanka Masters as the pacer picked up two wickets for just 15 runs in his four overs.
