Sri Lankan Lions secured a place in the second qualifier of Asian Legends League T20

Sri Lankan Lions secured a place in the second qualifier to qualify for the final of the Asian Legends League T20 cricket tournament thanks to captain Thisara Perera’s brilliant batting, hitting six sixes in an over.

The Lions defeated the Afghan Pathans by 26 runs in the third-fourth place match in Udaipur, India.

Batting first in the match, the Afghan team could only score 204 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the face of a target of 231 runs set by the Lions.
