Quinton de Kock slammed unbeaten 97 as KKR outplayed RR by 8 wickets in their IPL 2025 game on Wednesday. Earlier, Varun Chakaravarthy (2 for 17) and Moeen Ali (2 for 23) beautifully utilized the slowness of the surface at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium as KKR restricted RR to 151 for 9 in 20 overs after opting to bowl first.
Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana also picked two wickets apiece. Dhruv Jurel was the top-scorer for RR with a 33-run knock off 28 balls.
In the chase, KKR got off to a slow start but de Kock’s innings always kept them ahead in the game. His 97 came off 61 balls with the help of 8 fours and 6 sixes.
