New Zealand secured victory in a nail biting semi final match against hosts England to reach much awaited Netball World Cup finals in Loverpool.
It was a tense battle between one of the top contenders to this years world cup displayed excellent game of netball to entertain the capacity crowed at the M& S bank arena.
Silver Ferns took the first quarter with three goal margin (12-9) to keep their world cup hope alive. But the host nation had other ideas and took the second quarter 15-9. England leading 24-21 goals.
Silver Ferns bounced back in to the game sharply to take the third quarter and to see the score board 36-33 in their favoiur.
The final quarter was the most dramatic session of as the both teams played aggressive netball to see their nation in the finals. When the matched reached to the final 10 minutes New Zealand had two goal margin in their favour and kept the momentum until the long whistle to take the game 47-45 goals and see the arch rivals Australia in the finals on Sunday (21)
