Isipathana beat defending champions Wesley 29-0 in 10-a-side final

Defending champions Wesley College were completely beaten by an inspiring Isipathana College 29 points to nil in the Cup final of the in the Milo under 16 division one inter-school 10-a-side rugby tournament which concluded at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy.

The green shirts knocked out Rajans in the semi-final. In fact, Rajans and D.S. Senanayake displayed champion rugby in the two-day event.

Meanwhile, D.S. accounted for the Plate, Science for the Bowl and Piliyandala Central for the Shield encounters. Thirty teams in total participated in this annual event, which saw teams battling it out at the Bogamabara and Pallekelle Stadiums.
